There's was nothing "slapstick gold" about Inherent Vice.

OK, I hadn't heard. It's too bad it only took two years to improve. The show's lost about 90% of its audience.

Speaking of stiff, hey Whedon, why don't you worry about how bad Agents of S.T.I.F.F.S is.

It's a nasty movie, but there's a lot of dark humor. The scene where Henry and Otis go to buy a TV from a piece of shit backdoor salesman is very funny.

A Star is Stillborn

Relax, Twin Peaks is still happening.

They tried inviting him back for some reunion shows but he said no. Apparently, he couldn't walk away from growing pumpkins. Oh well. Who cares. King For A Day is a great album and that is sans Jim.

Schindler's List 2: Listier

I would argue that CLERKS was really great and kind of a generational touchstone. Beyond that, I don't think Kevin Smith has made anything "really great." And no, I don't think CHASING AMY fits that description.

Mark Frost and David Lynch have been out of TV land for a while. It's a matter of dotting I's and crossing T's. I'm definitely a bit nervous, but I'm confident that this will get done and deal will get done. I can't imagine them having gotten this far, announcing it and bringing out Kyle MacLachlan in a suit at TCA

This is the worst news involving Twin Peaks since Lara Flynn Boyle's face.

II is easily the best. III isn't as bad as some make it out to be (Chris Lloyd is fantastic and Shatner is excellent). IV is really light, but still enjoyable. But for me, V is easily one of the worst of the bunch. Bad FX, bad gags, and some very ham-fisted directing by Shat. It's just a clumsy Trek film. From what I

"But as we say on Earth, 'c'est la vie'!"

Apparently you don't grasp the band's brand of sarcasm.

I agree. It feels like a Vespertine doppelgänger, which is that last album by her that I truly loved. I thought Medulla was very good as well, but it's an odd duck and not one I listen to often. I've been underwhelmed by the last couple efforts, but this one is really kind of beautiful.

He's a fantastic actor. Dexter had a good four-season run, and then it went from bad to worse to fucking awful. He made tons of money doing it while he did, and I think he has enough integrity to let sleeping dogs lie.

If you love Grace, you will love it. They all perform in character, and Grace/Mrs Palmer talks about what she's been up to these last 25 years. It's fantastic.

I'm a big David Lynch fan, and while I certainly don't profess to know the man, I've seen enough from him to know that he wouldn't revisit Twin Peaks if he didn't have a really great idea. He's all about "the big idea". At his core, he's an artist, and not one to cater to fan service nor would he "cash in." Twin Peaks

If endless exposition, horrible sound mixes and secret (and laughably bad) stunt castings with Matt Damon are really "in" in 2025, then you will be right. And if that's brilliant filmmaking 10 years from now, just kill me now.

Wow. I'm dumber than this movie.
