People that think like that drive me nuts. I’m 39 and have paid off my student loans. It sucked, and of course I would have preferred to spend that money on other things. But I don’t want the next generation to have to go into debt simply because I did. If everyone thought that way, society would never progress even

God, he was goofy-looking. He definitely didn’t get much of his dad, the queen’s imprint on his face is pretty dominant.

Oooo empire waists were my nemesis! I’m fairly thin but not curvy and when I wore them last time they were fashionable I would get asked the dreaded “when are you due?” question.

My fave use of fashion tape is for button-ups that gape (almost all button-up tops/dresses do on me for some reason). It’s sticky on both sides, so I just pop it on the fabric in between buttons where the gap is and voilà! My bra remains hidden from public eye.

Why did you have kids then? I’m honestly curious after reading through this thread.

I love re-reading books, even ones that aren’t my favorites, and didn’t realize until I was an adult that most people don’t do this. It makes me confused as to why people purchase books in the first place, wouldn’t it be more practical to just have a library membership?

Shout out for Simply Pure! It’s such a great dispensary. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, and were also incredibly kind when I brought my mom in to ask about options for relief when she was going through chemo (and gave no hint that they knew me from non chemo-related previous visits when I wasn’t with my par

All my work clothes came from Express during the aughts when I was in my twenties - I definitely bought at least ten pairs of those stupid editor pants before I wised up and realized they were both unflattering and uncomfortable (on me at least, I’m sure they look good on some people).

The first time I ever got catcalled was in France - I was thirteen, flat-chested and had a mouth full of braces. Dude was at least in his forties. It was so confusing and creepy.

Well shit, I clicked on that link and now I desperately want a Sac du Jour :(

I also have no brand loyalty when it comes to toothpaste - whatever they’re selling in a big pack at Costco works for me!

The US educational system has a lot of barriers in place to restrict economic and social mobility, which also bolsters both generational poverty and generational wealth. Yes, you can take out a shit ton of money in loans or get scholarships to overcome this, but it’s really an unfair system, and making people take out

I’m sure she’s taking BARBRI or some other kind of study plan to prepare her as well, which should be just fine alongside her training program for purposes of passing the bar (as long as she studies of course).

I think it’s cool that she’s doing it too! I also wish other states would allow for this instead of forcing people to take on a great deal of debt for three years of law school (or that law was an undergrad degree, as it is in virtually every other country).

Why? One is definitively proven to cause premature aging and increase your risk for skin cancer, and it ain’t spray tanning.

That scream freaked my poor cat out - she was sleeping peacefully under the tv until that moment.

I definitely read this in Ned Flanders’s voice.

Anyone who throws a block of parm away instead of just scraping the moldy parts is a fool!

This is also a dream of mine. Come adopt me Ina!

He’s so adorably indignant in his little baby outfit!!
