I'm glad i work in a place where having this on in the background isn't taboo.

The problem is, that takes the sting of failure away. "Ah screw it, I'll eat a candy bar today. Beeminder will charge me for it, but I'm just using that saved money to save for a new car anyway!" I don't think it would work as well if you don't literally lose money from it.

Here's what I hate about Facebook: The fact that I go there simply because I'm afraid I'll miss out on something my friends have made/shared because they'll never just tell me about it, because they assume I saw it on facebook.

Good luck over in G+host Town. I wanted G+ to work SO BAD. But without the userbase, it's just...weird. It feels like the early blog world, where everyone had one, and all they did was post about how to get more readers. Only now it's more circlers or whatever. Everything just feels so salesy over there.

It's based on the amount of likes and comments. Stories with lots of "interest" get put to the top. It's helpful if you're the kind of person that friends the entire internet. However, I'm not one of those people, and I hate it too. it should remember what you choose, and stay that way.

I came here to say this. I will even go as far to say that I prefer higher fat burgers because they keep you full longer. And they're tasiter and juicer and all around more awesome. I've been so much happier since I realized (and saw the results) that eating fat gets you thin.

I'm really glad I don't have THAT kind of work ethic. Progressing my career in a direction where people learn they can call on me whenever, wherever, is not progress in my eyes.

Strange...I was using this feature on the PC desktop app weeks ago. It's how I learned about Helios!

I tried Onavo once for two weeks. It reported that I had used only about 60 MB, which I thought to be kind of strange. I checked with AT&T, and I have used nearly a Gig. Needless to say, I uninstalled and never used it again. Shouldn't have strayed from 3G watchdog...

THIS. After rotting Android for a year and a half or so, someone gave me an old 3G. In looking into jailbreaking it, I ran into so many phishing and jailbreak-for-money sites it was scary.

Ugh. Come on Whitson...do we really need more "Apple vs Android" articles in the world?

These are all neat ideas, none of them new, that depend on your GPS being on all the time. That's why these ideas aren't prevalent. Maybe one day GPS won't eat up battery like crazy and we can all use these kinds of features...but until then...

Yeah, When I installed Slim ICS, I was blown away. It was the fastest and most stable ROM I had ever used on my Captivate.

My thoughts exactly. At worst, it sounds like what @Maeldun said, at best, you look like you're such a bumbling fool that you need a phone to remember even the most basic things for you.

Why would you tell yourself that?

I forgive you, but I can't speak for Adam and Brett.

Schemer?

I've been told many times that I was hired only because of my cover letter.

Yeah, thanks for nothing, blog which provides me entertainment and information for free (besides ads)! APPEASE MY DESIRES!

My point is, this Tasker profile is designed specifically to launch the app itself. Heck, you can set reminders a million ways, this method was designed for the reminder and the action of doing what you're reminding yourself to do as linear and simple as possible.
