I tried really hard not to feel involved or invested in this trial—I don’t know anything about this relationship and I don’t want to assume innocence or guilt when such horrifying accounts of domestic violence exist on both sides.

Has anyone else been watching the Amber Heard trial. To be it’s a bonkers how some people can say she wasn’t abused.

I blame people for not voting for their own self interest. I think the Democratic party is awful. Hilary was a terrible candidate. So what. Voted for her anyway because the danger of Trump specifically choosing the Supreme Court was going to lead us to where we are today.

Being upset about a political party trying to do an impossible thing that would have ALWAYS been impossible to do REGARDLESS of when they did or did not try to do so is a massive waste of energy.

Just because you like something doesn’t mean you’re entitled to never encounter someone who doesn’t. That dumb “let people enjoy things” comic did more harm than good.

Especially at the local level. Every local election should have a Democrat or progressive option. And they should all have the same campaign. It should be a list of their platform, and at the top of the list it should say, “Once you’re in the voting booth, you get to choose.”
