Yeah, I somehow missed the first time I saw this story that she went after him only AFTER he tried to have her imprisoned and tortured for defamation. I mean damn.

If everything is moved to a new container how do you know when it has expired?

Men use Twitter more than woman….that’s telling.

Thanks for representing my home state of North Carolina in a positive way

Costner deserves a Lifetime Achievement Razzie. He’s the least self-aware motherfucker alive

It’s a good thing he didn’t see the scene where the Riddler gets vaccinated.

This dude is insufferable

oh yeah, imitating jim carrey was an actual insane epidemic in those years. worse than the borat years.

I fucking Love Congo, but it is a bad movie.

I totally agree. In the moment, in the middle of a live broadcast, it didn’t make sense for the organizers to escalate the situation, especially since it was just a slap and Rock wasn’t in any danger and I’m sure everyone there just wanted the awkwardness over.

I think revoking the award would be even harder. I mean he slapped somebody, are they going to go take awards back from all the people who have done worse? I feel like that would create an even bigger backlash.

I’m still not staying behind a truck carrying a bunch of logs.

The only reason Regina made a joke about is that Jada has been telling the world details of her marriage for years. If you put it out there, you can’t fault a comedian for making a joke about it.

Why should he be in jail, though? Forced to apologize? Sure. Fined? Most probably. But prison time? That's way out of proportion for the crime. And I'd say the same if he was homeless and destitude.

To be fair, Chris Rock declined to press charges. If I said something stupid or insensitive (or even if I didn’t!) and a friend of mine, or even an acquaintance, slapped me in the face for it—I don’t think I’d press charges either. Shit, I don’t think I’d press charges if a complete stranger just slapped me in the

yeah, they’re two different jokes.  it is possible for one thing to be fine, and then for a completely different thing to not be fine.

I’m shocked mostly at the low key acceptance of what was literally physical assault on live television. What if he had walked up and smacked Amy or Wanda or Regina in the face like that? Would the Jezebel crowd still be so nonchalant about it? Would it still be considered acceptable?

Uninstall then.

People keep making fun of the haircuts in these photos on Twitter, and like...have they ever seen photos from the actual decade? This was it, guys. These haircuts are painfully realistic. Deal with it.

Bridgerton was at one point the most popular series ever released on Netflix. It’s not exactly a galaxy brain idea that an entertainment website would cover it at least in part - and Gwen was the one to do so in season 1, so it basically makes sense she would also write a review of season 2.
