So when the show Justified came out a reviewer mentioned Lexington as a small town which made me laugh because Lexington has more than 300,000 people in it and the show takes place in Harlan which has less than 3,000 people in it which is an actual small town but they just conflated the two.

I think some people missing the problem here....I am totally fine with AI or technology replacing brutal jobs or boring jobs, etc. But having AI replace creative jobs like writing novels, screenplays, animations, etc. is really damn scary.

Whatever you think of Madonna’s work post Ray of Light (all of which has been below mediocre in my opinion) she was an icon in the 80s and 90s.

I would say I hate him...I don’t mind him as an actor but he definitely one of those people whose opinions I don’t want to hear. And this isn’t totally about him being a conservative. I hate it any time Lena Dunham talks politics and she is someone I enjoy as a creator. But any time they discuss their opinions I

I think I would like her to get sitcom more like Search Party or Poker Face! But I agree with you that she isn’t some great actress, she does sarcastic comedy well and that’s about it.

I think this is the problem. I am 40 and grew up loving Blur and I would pay a lot of money to see Blur but I will not go to Coachella! It’s too much and too overwhelming. And I live in the midwest and do not want to travel too far.

I am commenting just let everyone know I refuse to read it because I will drink however much caffeine I please. I gave up cigarettes for pete’s sake.

That is one of the ideas Martin gave and will most likely be in the books (if he ever finishes them). He said in interviews that what he wishes Lord of Rings showed was what happened after the winning the epic battle. How different factions would come together and compromise once “peace” was won. He wants GoT to deal

It will be fine if people stop being silly about them because the source material is coming from completed novels. And not from Martin who spends his time writing anything but the novels he needs to finish. I feel like not enough people blame Martin for not giving them the material the writers needed to make a quality

Plus it possible they moved on to the next place. I don’t everyone gets turned into ghosts.

Y’all we need to bring back shame. Make people feel bad again.

I think executives really don’t get it. I am willing to bet if they had done something more interesting, like actually make the Madame Web character in her 60s and disabled and done a really good story about her working as professional medium and it all going wrong they would have had a winner.

Really? I thought she was a terrible actress in it. Really stiff (and the character is suppose to be stoic not stiff). I did like her in Haywire but I don’t remember her character having much dialogue.

Movies have lost something a bit when we fixate too much on the viewers needing to identify with the main characters. I have noticed with a lot of media criticism lately is that they want character’s behaviors to make sense to them as the viewer on a personal level but the behaviors only need to make sense to the

it’s bewildering to watch Gleeson’s aw-shucks appeal contrast with his co-star’s edge

I have never been such a fan of much of celebrity where I didn’t feel like I could walk away or the flipside that I would spend my life defending a famous stranger online or spending $5,000 to see a show so it isn’t really parasocial for me.

I love that movie!

I am actually excited for this but I am not excited for the weirdos who won’t get over the final season of Game of Thrones being bad being even more vocal.

Of course. I still own all my old Woody Allen DVDs but I haven’t watched any of new stuff because I can’t continue to support him going forward. I feel the same about Kevin Spacey, I will still watch Usual Suspects but will not support any of his work going forward. Its the best balance I can find.

I hope Taylor Swift writes a song about it.
