Yeah, I’d argue that movie works because of her and I remember the reviews saying the same. Actually I remember the reviews saying she elevated that film. She was a critical darling and he was movie star in that old 90s way; really they helped each other with that film. 

I can’t quite put my finger on it but Rose Leslie’s accent in this show sounds weird to me.

Not really. Iron Man 2 came out in 2010 and that’s when I heard about her being cast as Black Widow and then having to back out and Edge of Tomorrow came out in 2014/2015? So the thought was already there.

You know I think you should just let people like what they like when it comes to something as harmless as this show which is just about a family trying to figure out how to support each other while being wildly different people.

I read all these books with my nephews and I am not really seeing how her race matters to the character or is any way central to the story. She was sort of like Peter Parker where he can be any race because he just regular kid who got bitten by spider.

The part problem is that Paula Patton is just...”meh” on top all the other reasons she never became a thing.

They are probably aging her up. Or ignoring it. 

I am glad this is getting decent reviews as I do have a soft spot for the first film. Though something about Miles Teller’s mannerisms and voice bug me which is mean but it’s just one of those things because I don’t think he is bad actor or anything but I will probably still watch it.

I run races and I think it’s too young to participate in the race mostly because runner parents can be weirdos and I often see them be so pushy about their kids running. 12 seems like a good cut off to me for marathons and 1/2 marathons. I live in a red state and they want to go to go IVF because they believe that women do IVF because they waited until their mid-30s to have babies. They think taking away IVF will stop women from going to college and start marrying younger and doing their biological duty.

I’d even take a Joe Manchin in some of these states. I get he is messing things up for us a lot right now but when you live in a uber conservative state but a progressive city like I do a Joe Manchin seems like a dream compared to the wack jobs here.
