Wait, is this ranking before or after the Great Ape War? Might be worth spliting the top 10 to pre and post war Kongs.

Isn’t that XKCD about 5 years old? I think she got her research team.

Edit: Reread the article and answered my own question.

Oh, I thought that the Omaha City Planners were big Oreo fans. My selfie eating an Oreo on Mike Fahey Street now just sends a mixed message. But I guess that explains why there is not a Taco Bell on the Street.

Records kind of make this pop crackle sound as the needle comes on and off. With a well made album it kind of reminds you that the world is here and you are back in it (so like Fleet Foxes type stuff). Some albums were made with that in mind I think. So like 5 songs that just transport you... pop... crackle... back in

Yes, I think a lot of people forget that portraying Superman is also portraying Clark Kent. And when Superman is Defender of the Universe that is not important. But for early Superman just getting started, it is absolutely critical and adds so much to the story if you can believe that no one realizes

But it is worse for women over there. I spent a year there and women are truly second class citizens that only have value if they are attractive and that is their primary value, to add eye appeal to the work place. It was really sad and one of the only blemishes in a country and a people that I truly loved (so way

Yes, I think that most anti war sentiment comes from a concept that if we don’t start wars, no wars will happen. Which is ideologically wonderful! High tech in war will (hopefully) do exactly what you say. Increase the precision of violence to ensure that wars don’t destroy towns or kill children. Plus when humanity

Yeah, I love science as much as the next guy, but NASA could really use a Moist Von Lepwig (like from Discworld) at the helm right now. Not saying that this guy is that dude, but saying that change is good and having the animal handlers run the circus isn’t the best way to fill the seats.

I bet they asked each person if they ate uncooked eggs and washed their hands and every person temped the egg dish and washed their hands every 15 minutes while in the kitchen. (right, who would say, “Nope, I never wash my hands). But you are right in your line of questioning.

We’re an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week. But all decisions of that officer have to be ratified at a special biweekly meeting, but a simple majority in the case of the purely internal affairs.

I like what you say, but I would say that applying math to the real world is.... just a limited tool. It provides insight within a certain scope. So if you are calculating how an object will fall to earth, using Galilean Math is sufficient... an object will fall between the Earth and the Moon... Newtonian physics

These drive me nuts also. There was a book. Everything is explain in more detail IN THE BOOK! If you read the book, then watch the movie...

We only only tested relativity for a very short duration (less than 100 years) at a very limited scope (less than .1% of the universe). Especially important since when we look at objects that are very far away, we are looking back in time. Often times in physics history we have gone through almost ridiculous

I think your point that illegal immigration is a local problem is wrong. Any traffic across the boundary of the US is a federal issue. So they are right as a federal government to care about that type of issue. I think if you wanted to make an argument that having the local government assess themselves as to how well

They don’t just limit it to earth!

Your critical systems created the internet! The better question is why did Al Gore allow us to use it for porn.

Thank you. One of these was an earworm I have had in my head for 3 years trying to find the name of the song. Only one to go now.

I think the spoilers window is up on this book. But... spoilers.

Okay, so in this line of questioning, how many folks that routinely have Deja Vu are also lucid dreamers? I agree with the idea that has a lot to do with misfired perceptions, so what about other areas where preceptions get... wonky.
