You do realize that the H2 has functional rock rails, bumper tow hooks, and skid plates ALL STOCK, right?

Adding the sidesteps is for suburbia, but without them, the H2 is definitely better than the Tahoe offroad simply due to the better stock tires and angles.

Guys. As a Porsche and VW mechanic who has offroaded in both the Cayenne and Touareg and worked on them I can tell you they are beasts. Almost completely smooth underneath for both aero and offroading clearance. Great approach and departure angles too. And boy does that air ride make quick work of obstacles.
