To be fair, the Tremec TR-6060 is also used in the Camaro and Vette, and saw duty in the CTS-V and GT500... and probably a bunch of others. It's been Murica's go-to transmission for high-powered, three-pedaled cars for many years now.

TR6060 is a good trans. So good that they use it in the SRT8 and R/T too. And the ZR1. And the C6Z. And the Camaro. And the CTS-V. And the G8 GXP. And the GT500.
