Because I see pregnant women from time to time.

Early 4.0Ts were unreliable. But the turbos are absurdly easy to replace (despite being expensive). Better than the garbage secondary air ports that get clogged in the 3.0SC heads that require a pressure washer and attachments to clean.

Correct. It’s not one singular Mercedes platform under it. It’s a hodgepodge of Mercedes things. Not a bad thing. But it’s incorrect to say it’s just a W210 E class.

There are similarities. But it’s not a complete W210 E-Class with Chrysler skin like people keep wanting to compare. Similar, but not the same.

A few people brought up the ram chassis which is cool. The current Ram is the best pickup on the market IMO. But Jeep has been working on this since sometime during the previous gen Ram. I’m wondering if they got to a point and shelved it or scrapped some of what they had.

Don’t know if it gets you out of the greys but have a star click. Hopefully that helps.

Journey is dead and the Durango can be had with the 5.7L, 6.4L and Hellcat engines.

There’s no Mercedes platform it sits on. This is a complete misunderstanding that the first generation was just an old e-class. When in reality the rear suspension design was from said car and the front was a cheaper version of the s-class. The auto trans (up until the introduction of the ZF 8speed) was all Benz

Most banks also let you print out a physical check to give to the dealership so long as they can give you a buyers order.

Yeah this happens on every mobile browser I’ve used.

All it does is crash and not load properly no matter the browser I use. Firefox, chrome, safari, etc. all the same issues. Not to mention I’ll be reading an article or commenting and 5 minutes later it all freaks out so it can take me to the top of the page and see some bullshit ad.

I’m not doubting that. I assumed Chrysler was just gonna slap it on the current grand Cherokee platform which is hilariously old (you know, their usual motive). But supposedly the platform will be from the latest Ram. Which is good news.

Because this is too tall and too high to be considered an actual station wagon.

Uh what? The Q8 and Q7 are the same vehicle. The Q8 just has less practicality and no backseat. Curb weight on a Q8 is about 5,000#, the Q7 is something like 5025#.

Haven’t seen too many issues out of them. Audi has been running them for a few years and now Porsche runs them. Like most new engines I’d avoid the early ones on the used market. But generally the 2.9TT and 3.0T (the actual T not that supercharged junker they made) are pretty solid.

Uh what? The current grand Cherokee is a slight rehash from the Mercedes ML.

The first generation cab forward cars (Vision, Intrepid, Concorde/LHS) definitely had their issues. But they were much better by the second gen. I had a 300M for a period of time and loved it. It was miles ahead of the other large cars from domestic brands at the time. And more “fun” than stuff like the Avalon or TL

It was a class action lawsuit for the dash issue. I can’t remember when they finally fixed it though.

Couple of notes...

Working on Nissans throughout the 2000s, owning a few 350Zs and G35s. Feel free to look up any of what I mentioned. All are well known issues in the VQ community valve covers are notorious for leaking past the spark plug tube seal and you can’t replace them unless you do an entire valve cover (although aftermarket
