Drivetrain is transmission/axles/diff/etc. powertrain is the engine.

Fuel level too low, I’ve noticed on tracks with a lot of turns or higher bankings it can cause damage if done enough because of the fuel sloshing around and not staying in the pump. It’s really rare but I’ve seen it cause failures. Albeit enough i can count on one hand though.

Yes it is. Does it make the car run and drive? That’s considered part of the powertrain. It’s definitely not a wear and tear item.

I work for a dealer. What exactly is the problem? I get more than enough work from idiots who get in over their heads or independents who can’t figure your car out (sometimes without you even knowing about it).

But their reasoning is bullshit. It’s not near as open and shut as you think. Had they said “your fuel pump failed because of the fuel moving in the tank and it was starved and did damage during your track day” then yes. Definitely understandable. Fuel starvation can do damage to pumps. But their rumble strip excuse?

Porsche warranties all their vehicles for track use. The only exception is if you do something absurd like blow your engine because you’re banging it off redline and registering a ton of over revs.

I’m aware of what Memorial Day is.

Honestly I don’t care. Because they sell a ton of vehicles and if you think a mustang looks like everything else in that picture then you have bigger problems. A loose trapezoidal grille design doesn’t make them the same.

The Cayenne did not save Porsche’s ass. This argument is old as hell and has little to no basis. The Cayenne definitely furthered Porsche’s profits and helps the company stay afloat. But the company was near broke in the late 80's and early 90's. What saved Porsche was the move to automation and production efficiency,

people stopped taking Memorial Day seriously quite some time ago. And unless you’re in the military it’s pretty much a day off work

The gaps on it aren’t that bad. Fit and finish on the later models (2013+) is much better than the early ones (09-12).

Yeah that mustang. It sure is like all the rest. Even has the same horse badge in the front just like the explorer. Such a damn shame.

It makes sense to me. Good Friday not so much (although I’ve never seen a Good Friday sale). Memorial Day makes sense because it’s a federal holiday so a lot of people are off work.

Ford advertised the shit out of the flex when it first came out. Problem is. Nobody bought one then. So Ford has just been churning these things out because it’s cheap to make for them. But they don’t advertise it because nothing will help its sales. Everyone wants CUVs. The Flex is too low, too boxy, and too much of

Because all people looking for 3-row CUVs should definitely consider the Fusion.

I actually think if you can get a CPO Macao I4, they aren’t bad driving little CUVs. They are sporty enough to keep you engaged. Not crazy underpowered. It’s better to drive than any VR6 Cayenne lol.

I’ve never seen PCCBs replaced outside of a warranty concern. Ever. You don’t replace them at anywhere near the regularity that you do for the steel brake rotors

Porsche does some mighty nice trickery with the sound symposer and pumping in engine noise to the cabin.
