You need to stop hanging around blind people. Because there are a lot of people who think Lexus is hideous. Most the dealers near me hate it. Most the buyers just keep buying it because reliable luxobarge. The LC is probably the best application of their predator/spindle grille. Even then, prettiest car on sale is one

The 944 and 928 were also built in the same half assed way that the 911 was. Production was nowhere near streamlined and that’s what hurt Porsche the most. Being popular for a handful of years isn’t exactly saving the company, it just limped them along until they had to address the issue and diversify the brand.

There is no 9PA in the VIN (you don’t need ‘number’). The internal chassis designation is 9PA and 92A. Porsche does not use 955 internally. So outside of that document there is nothing (besides you) who refers to it as a 955. Because that’s not the proper chassis designation.

Even if they scaled back production during the recession in the late 2000's they would’ve been fine. Playing the stock market had little to do with keeping them afloat.

I just don’t care to deal with idiots.

The 944 didn’t sell that well. There was still a lot of I’ll will towards that and the 928. Luckily those cars did have pretty decent profit margins.

955? The chassis code is 9PA (we’re currently at 92A for some reason).

You know who cares about lap times? The people spending the actual money buying these cars because it’s a bragging right.

Unfortunately. I’ve even had people get my email and follow me to other comments to start trouble.

The 2 seater coupe looks like one.

To be fair, the 2 seater is just as hideous as the 2+2.

Prepare yourselves for the hottest of hot takes.

Okay. Elon Musk is also on that council.

Brakes have become greatly improved over the last 30 years. It’s not so much because of the ABS as it’s better control of suspension (nose dive) and maintaining overall stability. Not to mention improvements in calipers, rotors, and pad materials.

Kalanick stepping down and democrats introducing legislation aren’t connected at all. Neither was the result of the protests.

No. No it does not shorten the distance. Again. It helps you maintain control in the event of a wheel locking up or skidding. There are systems now that improve braking response and do improve distance to a degree, but they aren’t the core of the ABS system.

The biggest mistake people make is assuming ABS is for reducing braking distance. Which isn’t true. The purpose of the system is to allow you to maintain control in the event the car slides/skids during braking.

Or a Diesel. The Cayenne diesel intervals are every 5k. And they definitely need it.

Porsche has their brake calipers a certain color to denote what it is.

It’s also not a new feature. They’ve used he acid green calipers to denote hybrid since the original 92A S-Hybrid. The green font accent is just another touch. Its got little to do with smugness because it’s not a giant logo like some other hybrids use.
