I wish they could make these things sort of share, over logical partitions or whatever is possible. If your three OSs are Linux Mint, Xubuntu, and Debian, there's a lot of overlap. I want them to share like Ubuntu with Gnome and KDE shares - everything but the DE.

Open up private browsing mode in a browser, and close as much else so they don't click something that makes a difference to you.

Has anyone who has used something better than an Android tablet liked the Touchpad? It got so many bad reviews, hardware and software, that I can't see why you'd want it. I'd rather spend the money on a magic trackpad, designed to work with the computer I already have, which has high reviews.

So Adobe has holes, Foxit has watermarks, Sumatra might be too light and most of Xchanges's features aren't free. Wow makes Preview sound good.

UK ATMs are always free, even in the touristy areas of London. Supermarket cashback from credit cards costs a tiny amount, use a debit card there.

As you eat more, be wary of fats, especially saturated fats. It's easiest with the pure carbs, like fresh pasta, couscous, rice, even rice pudding. Exercise the minimum that keeps your metabolism up enough (for me thats every three days, after that I get a bit moody).

Foursquare makes no mention of how big an area it can be.

That wasn't so much the case with 7.

Oh come on.. out of all the mobile devices, iOS devices are never going to be patched/updated? More like most likely out of all of them, especially the part of waiting for the user.

With limits, I doubt bread will rise with lemon juice, or cakes bind with bananas.

Yep, every country needs this solution to a liberty everyone deserves.

There's a community center at the tip it was offered to, this is a really last option shop, and they didn't want it.

Could do, but I'd rather get a second hand (no more than two or three years old) netbook that I can just leave under the router and you're barely aware of it.

Remember why these things are obsolete, with any old gear you need to remember the limits. I've had this computer for three years, we only just took the old one to the tip. I could have kept it as a home server, but it's really old, noisy and big.

I love gmail chat logs. Just open iChat, log in with your google account and you can video chat, with all text messages kept forever.

I had heard before a lot of suggestion that firefox was worse. Oddly, I use chromeplus on what I'd call a worse computer (school computer, with 4gb ram, double what I have here) and it's smooth, many tabs no problem.

Don't go for consistency over listening to your body, you can start insomnia that way. I never go to sleep quickly, at best I need to do anything wakeful (like getting washed) well before, lie in bed for 15 mins doing anything (even a game) then I feel sleepy. Works the same at 11pm and 1am.

Sometimes I really hate having more than three tabs open in Chrome, I'm just too used to Opera (and to a lesser extent Safari) where number of tabs means practically nothing. Is firefox like this too?

iPhone only? Us only?

By client do you mean for chat only, not the feeds/lists? Adium? It looks good with lists, it makes it look a bit like MSN (which I'd say is good).
