@heroineworshipper: All nuclear power plants have at least four significant layers, and Japanese ones are built to withstand earthquakes. What makes you think that if there is any difference, US did it better? They would have a lot of radiation suits, and we won't know the radiation death toll for ages.

That "I'm pretty sure you know" line is really wrong, completely different kind of explosion/vent, from much further within.

@armerad: Yep that too, though they are starting to make major mistakes in UI and pricing.

Right.. Strike Mumble for not being seen out of games, strike Fring for not being seen off mobiles, possibly strike google voice for not being international, strike Ventrilo for being server-based and only for nerds/gamers.

Brilliant article.

@corsair130: No laws get made without lobbying, no-one lobbied for prison-stupid-bankers laws.

@Stevox: No pin with credit cards?

You (america, but also us in Europe) could do with copying nearly everything the Japanese do, especially the diet, research and tech.

I've never paid more than £3 for anything, is this worth its price?

How do you survive a disaster like the redesign? Half the sites of the network don't have the old design accessible.

@doonesb: Or you pay Instapaper subscription and get the free Android app.

@willyolio: If I ever bought another PC, I'd want to invest in antivirus companies.

@Wraithen: The latter, iPad1 never said it could run iMovie.

Are there any videos showing it all in use? I'm not certain I want to update.

Vote: Google chat. I suppose it's video, but it's just so much easier than Skype. It's browser based, or iChat based, either way very easy. Skype have done stupid things recently, I deleted the ipod app.

This is good, Cells in internet connected TVs could compete with OnLive.

Two people who have created their own company, recognised by a lot of people, etc.. Branson comes up with a lot of silly ideas tbh. It normally works out well, Virgin Mobile is good, Virgin records has good singers, Virgin trains are the best.

@mkozaqii: I agree, I kept Handbrake 0.9.3 for a while before I got rid of the xvid dvd player.

@wjglenn: Because I don't need it, mov are equal if not worse to mkv/m4v and VLC does the decryption. I'd rather support a cross-platform open source software to another one which is briefly free.
