I think it might - might - be a joke.
I thought it had something to do with grandmas being irrelevant, so I was confused by the pictures of Drake and Bieber for a bit.
I just got done checking urban dictionary to decipher my niece’s Facebook post and then saw this. Sigh. I’m not *that* old yet ...
I am a Certified Youngn and even I had to re-read that headline a few times before it made sense. Which I assume was the point.
It’s also a really weird complaint in general. I don’t know about everyone else, but I do a lot better at dealing with Trump-related terror if I try NOT to think about it 24/7/365. Two minutes of letting myself enjoy a silly video doesn’t make me care about the horrors less, but it DOES help me find the energy to…
And the Ham-No’s.
Whenever there is a horrific story like this I’m remember needs of all those little saying people say to comfort others.
I don’t blame you, Lauren, it is the way the police talked about it and all the news media is reporting it this way. But the altered headline is better, thank you.
It was a fantasy for a year, and headlines force brevity. But I altered it a little to make it more accurate.
This was a woman who adopted a little girl entirely so she could torture and murder her. I seriously doubt she ever thought of the victim as her “child.”
She was out on bail for the impeding an investigation charge. She’s in jail now.
Unfortunately adopted kids are second class citizens.
I can’t stop looking at Grace and seeing the faces of all of the 14 year olds I was friends with as a freshman in high school. I can’t believe they plotted this for a year. I’m so sorry, Grace.
Or, I suppose, Ian Brady and Myra Hindley. Matches made in hell.
She raped and murdered her own child, but she is out on bail. That is fucked up.
Said it before, gonna say it again:
It ain’t fantasy if it done been did.
Shades of Paul Bernardo/Karla Homolka
I wish this would stop being called a fucking fantasy. These fuckers raped and murdered a child, full stop.
