Kristin is in therapy. As a person with borderline personality, I would be shocked if she hadn’t actually received that diagnosis. The bit was great though.

I haven’t watched the show but I’m enjoying her book. I am very into cults and I’m learning stuff I never knew, plus she basically writes how she talks, which gets a little cutesy but for the most part I like it.

I love how she starts her book with sharing all of the dirt on herself and her family Scientology would normally expose so the “after the money” thing is all they have to throw at her.

I think she should take some time and do some stage acting. Producers get the star power they need for people to see the 50th revival of A View from the Bridge and she gets to develop as an actress away from the spotlight of Hollywood. The fact that she hasn’t done this makes me suspicious that she’s not good enough…

They had some kind of impromptu get together there last week to show solidarity. I am pretty plugged into the DC music/food scene (work in a venue and go to too many shows) and word is they don’t want to advertise an event because, you know, the gun nuts :/

He does a yearly Christmas show at the venue where I work and inevitably there are a couple walkouts who didn’t quite know what they were in for but it’s mostly very normal looking people just pleased as punch to hear JW talk about filth. Also he’s super nice!
