Yes. I sit amongst women 10-20 years older than me (at least). All white, all upper middle class and all scoffed at me when I said it was a disgrace none of the men who won at the Globes addressed their colleagues, who were engaged in a protest in that very room. “Why should they?”

I don’t know about social class, but I do think a lot of women over a certain age are having a problem simply because in their generation, it was just how it was. And if something happened, they didn’t and wouldn’t have even thought about saying anything, because society wouldn’t have cared if it did. Or blamed them.…

Have you not met white people before? Hate strikes have been a thing for a longgggg time. Being “pro-union” or “liberal” doesn’t necessarily lead to being pro-people of color or pro-human decency.

Which is weird, because the original Rosanne seemed to be more on the liberal side. I mean, she led a union-based walkout at the plant, dealt with the issue of a single mom, had a friend who was a lesbian, etc. I’m not saying all those issues makes someone a progressive, but she choose to include them in her show.…

I am a huge, huge original-recipe “Roseanne” fan. I have seen every episode like 50 times. You could not pay me to watch this revival, especially with the Trumpish BS.
