What about “pure” olive oil?

OMG, yes!  I have to go watch it now...

Phil Hartman was such a huge loss; still sad seeing Simpsons reruns.  The Seinfeld finale was a big deal at the time but ultimately extremely anti-climatic.

I’m pretty sure the Jaws “bigger boat” comment is made sarcastically; Flint doesn’t have a bigger boat!

Hey, fellow upstate New Yorker--have you tried Three Heads beer?

Sure, she was the youngest in the room, but she is not a child—she is 29. I thought this was a great response by her. We ALL need to have the courage to stand up in the face of injustice.

Where in the review does he mention the connection to The Outsiders at all? I went back and re-read and still could not find this...

Koontz has been repetitive at times...I haven’t liked those books or the ones that overly rely on the supernatural to explain everything (Mr. Murder comes to mind). But he can also be an amazing storyteller, particularly when it comes to blending horror with hope.

Ugh, I (and many others I know) hated the ending of THE MIST, the movie! I loved the end to the original story...I like the idea of embracing “hope.”

I actually kind of liked this movie, but it probably wasn’t spoiled for me b/c I saw the movie, THEN read the book.

Wow, we thought that was a pretty bad movie...didn’t see it in the theater though.

Yeah, he was pretty annoying on RENO.

((raises hand))

I did not like Avatar. “Hate” is probably too strong a word, but I wasn’t blown away by the special effects, and for the whole (LONG) movie, I was wondering what all the fuss was about.

I didn’t see this movie, but I liked the book! Although I thought that the boy was a little TOO precocious—what was he supposed to be, 7?

First, I love that someone else didn’t like Avatar! Both the movie and the 3-D were highly over-rated.

I was waiting for some Wrath of Khan love, but TMP?

Cut my cow?

Hey Philly person! I grew up in South Jersey...some great stuff on channels 17 and 48! I used to watch a show every Saturday night my senior year of high school (I think on pre-Fox UhF 29 then) that was sort of a pre-MST3K, a half-hour dubbing of old movies. Damn, the name is escaping me...
