You're absolutely correct that the only thing needed to condemn Kim Davis was her refusal to comply with the law. Her being a hypocrite is just icing on the cake. Delicious, delicious icing.

I agree with you about her appearance, but it has nothing to do with compassion…it's just that those kind of superficial attacks make people look petty and stupid.

That was THE problem. The judge was actually going to send her back to work and allow her to personally refuse to issue licenses, but she had to agree not to interfere with her deputy clerks. She refused to make that promise, so the judge had no choice but to send her to jail.

She's entitled to her opinion, regardless of how we may feel about it. Hopefully, there are enough people offering better advice that she won't be able to influence many. But if rape survivors don't deserve a voice - even if what they're saying isn't helpful - who does?

Have you watched/listened to "New In Town"? He's a good comic with good timing, and he's got good instincts (for stand-up). He's still a bit raw, but he's going to be great.

Brandon Routh is a TV star, not a movie star. He's found his home on the CW. Let's leave him in peace.

I could just as easily say that your enjoyment of the movie depends on your belief that all the film's inconsistencies are intentional writer/director choices. And who knows which of us is right?

And, for some reason, a dinosaur.

They never staged a live, televised version of the Wiz when we had a WHITE president!

Anybody else's Disqus returning a bad security certificate when they're logging in to the AV Club? I'm only having this problem with the login I use specifically for here, rather than my main DIsqus one.

That Toshi Station one is flat out hilarious.

Wait, WHAT?!? You can make MONEY off of Instagram?!?

Whedon and co. agree with you. They're on record as saying the best ingenue for Angel was Spike.

THAT'S creepy? You got issues, girlfriend.

I don't have the time to explain the concept of camp, but if you really are interested, there have been literally hundreds of books, essays, and articles written about Garland and her impact on the gay community.

Oh, honey. You have much to learn.

ESPECIALLY the Mickey Rooney ones. She was so winsome!

I will not hear a bad word about Meet Me In St Louis.

You're a monster.
