Bev also took two episodes off.  I know she still competed on LCK, but those cookoffs appeared to take about 10 minutes each.  Nothing like a full-scale weekly challenge.

Spike wasn't nearly as bad as he's remembered.  The hat, I get.  But he was also pretty honorable in a few heated reality show moments (in his original season).  Definitely not a top-4-level talent or anything, but I never hated him.  Certainly seemed worlds ahead of people like soupy-Jaime.

I finally watched Breaking Bad this year after putting it off forever, and as with all things television I had to rush over to the AVC boards for the show.

What does everyone on this board know so much about cooking?  I am aware of these things as words only, no more.

Is it just me or are these writeups getting shorter and less analytical every week?

Does everyone remember that guy a few seasons ago that was a dishwasher or something?  He somehow made a perfect Indian curry for Padma when he'd never made it before, then MacGyvered a grill together on some other challenge?  That guy was cool.

Ah Casey, hottest contestant in TC history.  The attractiveness factor in this season is in the gutter, and that's saying something with a 30-odd person pool.  I say give Casey a (third?) shot.
