Nintendo tweeted about this a while ago and that made me way more interested in Tri-Force Heroes, even if it’s unlikely that Link would acknowledge his prior adventure very much. When I played OoT when I was younger I was amazed by MM being a direct sequel, but got disappointed when the game barely mentioned the prior

I nominate Splatoon for a runner-up for this list. Let’s just say, collect the Sea Scrolls. The emotional hits are worth your time.

I’m a bit bummed that the amiibo will be the male version, just like with Robin. And please, unless you’re going to pay for it, don’t tell me to get a custom.

I love Kirby’s “Welp I’m outta here” face.

It’s getting harder to patch myself up after these Iwata tributes.

I’m waiting for this sick Master Sword-as-seen-in-A-Link-Between-Worlds amiibo stand, made by (I think) the same company. It only holds two but MY GOD it’s too beautiful to question its practicality. Here it is: http://zeldauniverse.net/2015/06/25/her…

Yeah, I was worried about this. AC: HHD is a pretty fleshed out game, I don’t know why this couldn’t be something similar. The last thing the Wii U needs is bad 1st-party games, even if its fortunes were improved this year a bit.

I had no idea of his backstory! I tried making him speak with as many characters as possible to try to get him to say why he was so afraid of women, but I never seemed to trigger it, I guess. Reading my comment back, I phrased it poorly - I didn’t mean to say that his terror of women was misogynistic, it was his

People usually aren’t as uh, fascinated with getting close and examining every detail of Cloud’s hair.

A Tifa in the original polygons Figma might take some eyes out.

Grandparents are something else. People can cry all the like for the good ol’ days, but I am continuously shocked by what they ate, how they lived, and how much they worked and how they arrived in okay health to their mid 80’s. My grandparents certainly didn’t seem to miss the days of child labor and loved ones dying

I’m usually starving after these Snacktaku videos. I am curiously not this time.

Just on this I’m fairly interested in this app. Knowing Nintendo there will be no way to link this to your actual Nintendo account and therefore actual Mii, because I would like to see my game stats on the go and dress my Mii up. And chat with others using my Mii and maybe invite them to play Splatoon and Smash with

Excited is an understatement for me right now.

Pretty interested in this one.

Totally with you on how unnecessarily quiet they are about amiibo festival. The Japanese trailer looked fun, I just want an English one so some of my questions can be answered.

I can totally understand the wait for the new Direct, it’s an awkward time for the company (though I wonder if directives were in place for Iwata’s passing, or his relapse was too sudden to plan for anything) and the Direct needs to be fun, but tasteful. Full of gags but also introducing who’s going to take up hosting

You are a special kind of out of touch if you’re comparing the resources available to someone who works at Wal-Mart to those a physician and attorney, and think you suffer just as much as them. I mean, desperately, “please don’t ever talk to anyone outside your wine parties” kind of out of touch.

While I believe AC Amiibo Festival is being produced in-house, I’m afraid it’s going to be like this game - a weak extra to what people really want, the amiibo packaged inside.

As a carbon roller user I don’t like that I have to be even more precise in kills (this roller really does sacrifice power for speed), but the other rollers and blasters getting a nerf makes up for it. Not getting murdered from around a corner is going to be sweet.
