For real — this is the first concept for a Predator sequel/prequel that really holds its own weight, and it’s crazy that it took them over 30 years to get here.

Makes you wonder why they don’t just build their own VFX studio at this point. Surely having an in house team that works alongside the director much like a DOP does would mitigate a ton of issues like this.
I think people want Netflix to fail because they don’t want Netflix’s current strategy to be seen as a good model for other companies to follow. It’s not that Netflix doesn’t have some good content, it’s that they no longer have enough good content to charge top-of-the-market and still be thinking about monetizing…
I mean Star Trek has been breaking established canon for like 40 years. At a certain point you just have to sit back and enjoy the ride. Head canon your fixes if you must but just sit back and go with the flow.
Agggh. I have to regularly use IE at work because other browsers can’t support the stupid systems I have to run. I hope they know better and fix these systems before upgrading to the newest Windows.
s2 also added underrated Legends glue guy Nick Zano as Nate
Season 2 doesn’t get enough credit for upgrading from dead-serious Casper Crump to scenery-chewing Matt Letscher, John Barrowman, and Neal McDonough who all seemed to realize they were in a comedy.
The campaign for Legends Of Tomorrow: The Peacekeeper Wars starts here.
Dear Pete,
Because a review is suppose to tell you about something and if it’s good or not(based on the writer perspective). Do you spend $60 on a video game and then read the rest row to know if it’s good or not?
Yes, if there's one thing we need to draw the line at it's the former Anakin Skywalker casually murdering children
He was still a young man low to mid 30s at this point and just angry as hell. Even Palpatine in the comics was like ‘dude just chill’. He’s alot less murdery by the time a new hope comes around.
Did I miss when we turned against Love, Simon? I distinctly remember everyone cheering that movie on at the time.
“From the queer baits of Falcon and Bucky”
Yeah, but that Bullseye throw-down in the newsroom is one of the spookiest fight scenes I’ve ever seen. The camera whip panning while he’s bouncing staplers off the ceiling and shit. Poor DD getting smacked upside the head repeatedly.
There is SO MUCH CONTENT being created today, how does ANY show gather enough audience to avoid cancelation? Production costs are way up and the audience is diluted over dozens of shows at any given time. And most people don’t watch scheduled broadcasts, so Nielson numbers are useless.
If I didn’t already know Kay is regarded by many of his peers as the best living fantasy writer, I wouldn’t from this blurb.
File me in the ‘not surprised, but disappointed’ camp, but also an accepting one. Legends has for a long time felt like it was on borrowed time and just embracing the freedom of no longer caring; it doesn’t need to make ratings grabs or anything, it just gets whatever space it can find to have the most fun it can on…
It was nice to have a show that was simply FUN and light. In an era where traditional scripted TV, and esp. superhero shows, are trying to hang on by going darker and grimmer, LoT S2 onward was just a refreshing tonic of a good time.
