You may!

Dang, that's some shade.

I just renewed my library card yesterday, so while I was in, I picked up The Graveyard Book and The Ocean at the End of the Lane. When perusing Gaiman's works, I noticed he has put out like a thousand short story collections while I wasn't paying attention, plus a few more children's books.

My wife called that one out instantly.

The CGI had me mention to my wife that in spite being a Big Three network show with Disney money and power behind it, every single effect on this show looks worse than every single effect on Legion, a Marvel C-Lister playing on cable's deep bench.

My wife and my 14-year-old daughter all told each other that we're done with the show after this finale… but I suppose we'll have to see how that holds up. At very least, it's miraculous finding any show to watch with her. So… probably see you all next season.

My wife and I imitate his laugh as shorthand for "act natural."

I can feel that. I was a big 4e defender, and not just because I spent hundreds on source books. Toki, my Dawven Battlemind, was one of my favorite characters ever. He was built to soak damage with stacked temporary HPs. He was wonderful.

That's why Whitcher feels right - you have to hold down a button inhibiting your game play, and it distorts everything a bit besides. I reduced my Detective Mode usage in Arkham replays because I realized that they're pretty games, and I kind of missed it the first time around.

Or they already have 4e books. It's not a cheap hobby.

I think P5 will be the next game I buy. Mark your calendar, 2019!

And Witcher 3's version of it where it's actually kind of inconvenient is far superior to the Arkham Detective Mode, where you basically turn it on and never turn it off for the whole game.

Just so you know, the other Bloody Baron choice…

It's right there in my queue! After I finish Witcher 3, it's either that, or I might roll back into LA Noire.

Why'd you go with 4e? I haven't seen anyone even touch it since 5e came out.

We'll play Blood & Wine together!

4/20/2002, on the Ithaca College campus. I think you could tell from the date what sort of state of mind I'd be in, and I was further into it than I'd ever been in my life. My friends decided they were going to put on an event on campus that evening, screening Toxic Avenger IV: Citizen Toxie, and opening it with

Every single scene in which he appears, I am reminded that he exists in this show. The only exception was the fantastic number he did with Goodwin in the musical episode. That was transcendent.

Some Dude's swingin' on the flippity flop.
