You know, I wish you or Ignatiy could elaborate on that last part of the sentence.

Have you seen any of Snyder's films besides Sucker Punch or Man of Steel?

I'm guessing you're not a fan of the Hayes Code approved horror classics?

Aight, I stand corrected.

Yet, his female characters tend to be really well written and interesting. Also, given that his films tend to be more like ensemble pieces than anything else, he gives the women in his films their due. There Will Be Blood might be an exception, but that movie was also about masculinity in a way.

This comment is so three weeks ago. But I'm willing to shut up until there's a trailer for it, aat least.

I'm not sure about Doug Walker's background, but Lindsay Ellis (Nostalgia Chick) is/was a film student and it shows. She does a really good job at looking at what works and what doesn't in a movie, and making it funny and palatable. I don't always agree with her, but she really does great work at sustaining her

He said he did it as a joke, though. From what I've read of him, he comes off as self-deprecating in a really weird way. He does come off as a douche sometimes, but I like his sense of humor and his perspective on things. I'll say that I'm always awaiting the moment in which he talks about his ideas for movies instead

I couldn't finish it. I like reading Max Landis' interviews and scripts, but this one was just downright impossible. Some fun stuff here and there, but I couldn't believe I had just finished what would be two hours worth of screentime, and the story hadn't actually gotten started.

I do think he's funny and he has interesting points of view about movies, but I think he tries too hard now. The older episodes of his show had very simple production values and they worked all right, now he seems to be mixing his reviews up with sketches and mixing really bad greenscreen or After Effects visuals

Same. This sounds like every mix CD I used to make back in High School. It'd go from Bright Eyes' "I'll be your friend" to The Ramones' "What a wonderful world" to something by The Album Leaf, and then into Roy Buchanan's "Sweet Dreams."

His (Postal Service's?) cover of John Lennon's "Grow Old With Me" is pretty charming. There were others I remember listening to and liking, but I can't remember which ones.

You know, for me the skiing sequence was the movie having fun. It felt like Nolan just writing in a scene like that because he really wants to do a James Bond movie. It's not too bad, but it's one of my least favorite parts of the film because it's rather unimaginative compared to the rest of the scenes.

Same. I really do love the film and it's one of my favorites, but I thought it was just a really cool mix of a heist movie with a touch of sci-fi. I didn't think it was as complex or complicated as it's made out to be. Sure, the ending leaves you thinking but it's not that hard to figure out where you stand on it.

I hear Housekeeping is working on it right now.

Well, The Bridge was pretty good. I was sad to see it go and glad that someone like King appreciates it. He probably should've done it sooner, though.

I was on flights from London to El Paso, Texas, so in all that time I…

If I remember correctly, yes. I remember going to one in El Paso and there was a statue or something of Colonel Sanders and it freaked me out because it seemed so real and so hidden that it just jumped right out at you when you noticed. I've not been to that KFC in years, though.

I was just about to ask how does food poisoning happen with this process.

You don't happen to live in El Paso, Texas, do you?
