Big Tolkien nerd here, but I’m not really looking for any absolute fidelity to the text for this show... mainly because the “text” the show is based on mostly exists as a series of footnotes and half-developed outlines that neither JRR or Christopher Tolkien ever really fleshed out. Other than certain broad story arcs,

“Oh Cousin Larry, your daughter is not a Hulk, don’t be ridiculous...”

Seeing Mark Linn-Baker as a father in a sitcom warms this 80's kid’s heart. Cousin Larry for life!

Yeah, if there’s not a behind-the-scenes reason like that for the choice of reducing Mark Proksch’s average screen time to 30 second per episode (and in a limited form, to boot), it might just be the most misguided decision the show has made so far.

Of course, us normal people just get fired if we cite our mental health as a reason we can’t work.

It’s kind of nice that, as it turns out, what is almost certainly our last glimpse of Walter White in this world isn’t the Nazi-killer super-scientist managing to effortlessly outwit his enemies one last time, but the pompous, bitter and frustrated pedant who can’t even let a harmless thought experiment about time

Showrunners are a dime a dozen, bought and paid for politicians are a long term investment.

If you watch Lindsey Ellis’s videos on it, it seems he was brought in late by Warner Brothers on a mandate to save the movies, and he didn’t want to be there or have the time to do it properly.

I’m sure the producers are very sorry they couldn’t let 12 year old children experience the creative joy of discovery and experimentation. Drama club is good for that, kids.

What’s up?

This whole article just went in completely inane directions to critique this trailer and the idea of this show.

But if we’re making a show called “The Lord Of The Rings,” one must assume that eventually, there will be a season about the book The Lord Of The Rings.

Fuck anyone who uses the term woke. That is what you mean.

Tarantino went on to explain that it’s called “Battle Royale” because of the metric system.

Here’s a handy tip to remember if you should use “would have,” or “would of.”

Hey, let’s just be happy this wasn’t a slide show.

I'm not a huge Snyder fan, but his version was far superior to what was initially released. Even with all of the weird endings.

How dare you, SHE’S A NICE LADY!

I think there was one single scene that perfectly sums up the essence of Saul Goodman.

Bullshit - you knew it wasn’t that Cheers because Sam didn’t let black people work or drink in his bar.
