Except... it is a kids show and always has been. If anything the sudden attempt with Capaldi to make it adult-oriented is the anomaly and it didn’t really work which is why most of that run was characterised with “the episode wasn’t great except for Capaldi’s monologue”.

Most people use “Comic book movies” when they mean super hero movies. There are a shockingly large number of movies based on comic books that people never realize. Most recently “Old.” I mean shit, Road to Perdition is a comic book movie.

The donut shaped universe is from “They Saved Lisa’s Brain” in season 10.  Not any of the Halloween episodes.

It appears to be fashionable to hate on “Black Widow” for some reason or another - my favorite is that it’s somehow “too late” for us to enjoy the movie - but I’m not going there. I watched it; I enjoyed it; I’m looking forward to what Florence Pugh brings to the MCU. I don’t need it to be anything more than that.
