I just now grokked that Phoebe Bridgers and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are not the same person. I mean, I would have known that if someone had asked (they’re obviously very different), but my brain just slotted them into the same place every time I heard about one or the other.

True. Also true: The falling out between original drummer Bun E. Carlos and the rest of the band is wound the band never REALLY recovered from. Nothing from the post-Bun period is close to even their later best (stuff like ‘She’s Tight’ or even, yeesh, ‘The Flame’)

I’m just here to say that the 1979 Droid Factory playset, whence these two playsets sprang, is still the best “Star Wars” toy of all time, and I would happily drop up to $100 on an authentic re-release.

What an actor he is. When I saw Juno, I fell in love with that character. She was exactly the type of girl I was attracted to in high school.

Whatever trauma and pain he was going through playing a person going through such a feminine experience, it doesn’t come through and the performance is amazing.

Zach Snyder’s entire career can be summed up like this:
