This sounds like a movie that around five people will see and like. 

Remember when AV Club would interview stars, and while it’d be obvious that they were doing the promotional rounds, the interview would be more focused on the star than whatever was being promoted? And on some occasions, the star would thank the interviewer for it?

Did they? I was in a couple Tower Records back in the 90s, and they pretty much just sold the major label stuff. They would have older albums, but not obscure ones. Your local record stores were much better for that (“Damn the man! Save the Empire!!!”)

The problem is that George Lucas is a fabulous producer/ideas man, but that’s about as close to the creative process as he should ever be allowed to get. His scripts are almost uniformly terrible, and his direction is average at best.

I haven’t enjoyed the last bits of Chappelle’s content that much - or maybe I’m just leery of joking at some things in recent years - but this was impressive. And I do enjoy that after all these years he’s essentially become like Bill Murray in that he appears and just does what he wants.
