She and Tilda Swinton are literally the only reasons to see that movie.

If I had an absurd amount of money, I’d offer to send anyone who seriously believes that the earth is flat up into space where they can see the planet as a whole.

Warrior Within has better gameplay but is peak 90's edgelord (which would have been fine had the Sands of Time’s Prince shown any indication that he could become that guy)

No more lemon parties for old Dick.

Tennant and Sims definitely wanted to bang.

I feel for that Greta. She has been brainwashed into thinking that there is climate change and there isn’t.

Mia meets Pablo and Kelly and they go on a Winchester brother style journey across America hunting Deadites.

The motorcycle chase also felt pretty gratuitous and bland.

I’m still a bit miffed that they didn’t give Derek Jacobi’s Master more than a few minutes of screen time.  I wanted to see him in full scenery chewing villain mode.

The only things that really bugged me were canonical issues. I know that canon is sort of nebulous with the show and largely depends on whatever the current showrunner wants to incorporate but C saying that MI6 didn’t countenance extraterrestrials seems silly after we’ve seen multiple large scale alien invasions where

I’m imagining Baby Yoda sounding like one of the Freeman brothers now.

aka Lone Wolf and Yoda vs Darth Gus Fring

A key to the scene’s effectiveness is Flanagan’s avoidance of the latest in digital technology when conjuring Torrance Sr.: He’s played by Henry Thomas made up to resemble Jack Nicholson in 1980

It might be too early to judge (as mentioned above I’ve only watched one episode) but GoT did an excellent job of easing non-readers into the show (I was one of them).  This just feels like it drops you into the middle of everything and expects you to catch up.

I’ve watched the first episode and if it’s any indication, the series is going to have difficulty appealing to people who aren’t familiar with the books or the games.

I’m going to watch it for exactly that reason.  Possibly (probably) while high just to enhance the fucked upness of it all.

He’ll almost certainly see very few inmates during his sentence. He’s a known snitch and he’s famous so he’ll be in “protective custody” because they generally don’t like it when someone famous is murdered in their prisons.
