They weren’t really characters so much as narrative archetypes

Dripping Springs is home to a pretty good vodka distillery.  I hope they follow suit so I can have a bottle of Pound Town Vodka on my shelf.

The show probably should have ended when Kripke left and the original arc was completed but it managed to tread water long enough to actually get good again for a while.  Still, I think they’ve done pretty much everything they can with the idea and it’s a good time to shut it down.
