Watching Bioware quietly slip into mediocrity has been a painful experience.  

I have a hard time accepting that Holt doesn’t know who Bilbo Baggins is. He would certainly consider fantasy fiction frivolous but Tolkien’s works are extremely well regarded in literary circles and I think he would have at least a cursory knowledge of his books.

So far this season, I felt like Rosa had been pushed to the background which bothered me but fortunately this episode remedied that and also brought the focus back on the whole “police” aspect of the show which I thought had been sidelined as well.  The endless cavalcade of hairstyles was a nice bit of visual humor…

I Am The Night

I don’t think the GOP has the stomach for another shutdown. I think there will be a ton of pressure on Mitch to pass the House CR and tell Trump that they will override any veto.  But the GOP has been the party of Chaotic Stupid for a few decades now so I could be way off base.

I hope King lets someone else do the screenplays for his stories because the guy does not understand how to do visual storytelling.
