Honestly, I trust NPR far more than I trust the non-Sava/Wilkins TV Club at this point.

…so they can write a pre-air pilot review, just like they always did before they added a "TV Review" section.

Ugh, she was so bad in Romeo + Juliet.

NCIS has cliffhangers all the time.

They do a lot better than the other networks when it comes to young people, but when it comes to old people? Forget it.

Exactly. I think that waiting a month and reviewing the first 4 episodes would do a much better job of answering that question than reviewing the pilot does.

Eh, call me crazy, but I'd rather you just called it what it is, a review of the pilot, than call it something it's not so that it gets put on Metacritic.

I'm just bummed because each season was exponentially better than the last. I wanted to see what they could do in S4.

God dammit, I loved that show.

You should watch Say Anything sometime. It's a great movie, and it's obvious you haven't seen it.

I can think of one. It's a pretty shitty, uninteresting song, though.

Wait…people like Smashing Pumpkins?

Maybe the Bioware of 6 years ago. I'd love Obsidian, though.

Yup. Fuck Hannibal S2.

Hopefully you mean 3 years later!

Or maybe the idea is that there are no absolute answers, and that we should be leery of anyone claiming to offer them.

Give me a real world example of a monarch being abruptly and brutally overthrown without the society plunging into chaos.

It wasn't a pun, or Hawkeye would not have been included as another example.

Fuck. Best wishes.

They're significantly better books than GOT is a TV Show, and books are a much better medium for this kind of story already.
