Garfield and Friends was pretty solid as cartoons go. 

If I was inventing a thing that needed a voice, and the person who had that voice turned down my offer to pay her...I would then use a voice that sounded NOTHING like the person who turned me down. But that’s me, I don’t like to get sued.

Garfield Minus Garfield is a good version.

I always think of Josh Segarra as Prometheus on Arrow, the show’s 2nd best villain. He also was fun as a really uncaring prison guard on Orange is the New Black

Yeah, it’s definitely a fine line. I do, sincerely, love what Filoni’s done filling in the gaps between episodes of The Saga but also love when folks like Tony Gilroy and Rian Johnson are able to play in the sandbox and do something completely different.

the director’s cut available on Max cleans it up a bunch to make it more watchable, but I was also pleasantly surprised when I finally watched it last year.

I think The Phantom Menace was the best anyone could expect out of pure, unadulterated George Lucas. He needs the Gary Kurtzes and Marcia Lucases of the world to keep him in check, and no one on TPM was willing to do that. I also think that what Lucas does well he does excellently in TPM, and I still get bolts of joy…

Another controversial opinion: The Phantom Menace is a lot like Star Trek: The Motion Picture from twenty years earlier.

I like it! The symbol looks great, the trunks are back. Everything looks good. It does look like he’s already been in battle from the scorch marks. I’m picturing him just now getting home and some alien starts attacking the city and he’s like, okay, fine, back to work I guess.
