I found an unopened can of Billy Beer in an AC Moore parking lot last summer; it's sitting in a place of pride on my bar.

Tom's of Maine really doesn't work, does it. I tried, I really did, but my teeth never felt clean, and my b.o. was awful.

Cool, but will there be English subtitles? Because I don't know Portugese.

Eh, maybe I'll just rewatch The Ox-Bow Incident instead.

I thought it was "Third crack at Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch".

Oh, also, the artwork and style of this article is gorgeous, and a nice visual change. Good Job, Intranet!

Anyone know if Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell's fairy lord Man With the Thistle-down Hair is actually based on Bowie's goblin king? Because they feel somewhat alike, especially the ballroom scenes. (Speaking specifically of the novel, not the miniseries).

See, now I'm just seeing more reasons to watch this.

Wait, really, re: Cranston? Because he's Buzz Aldrin in Hanks-produced From the Earth to the Moon.

I like you, Stuart. You're not like the other people here in the trailer park.

You people are kidding me about David Bowie, right? This is one of those fake announcements, right? Please? Please tell me it's a mistake.

Guess I'm showing my age, because I don't see anyone else bringing up the subtle reference to the film Witness, wherein Garnet plays Harrison Ford teaching Peridot to dance by the barn to a mock-"Don't Know Much About History". But hey, I appreciated it—you don't generally see references to that movie anymore.

I haven't watched that movie in at least fifteen years, but I remember it kinda fondly.

I grew up with his albums, and The Cosby Show was appointment viewing in my house. It's still really painful and awkward. And I assume with time I'll be able to enjoy it again, like I can enjoy and love Annie Hall or Chinatown.

I'm still not there with Cosby, but damn it, I can't bring myself to hate Allen's heyday films.

I will never not giggle at that top picture. Seriously, on my darkest days, I will have to come to this page and just gaze upon those flying squirrels.

Driving from Nebraska to Philadelphia in one sitting, and it's 4 am and I'm stuck on the Pennsylvania turnpike, fading, and "Ace of Spades" comes on the radio, waking me up, making it that much easier to go home and not crash the car while nodding off.

help others not because it's "right", but because they want to

Yeah, it's a damn fine cartoon retelling, and it reminds you of how good hand-drawn animation can look, which Disney excelled at, and which is essentially dead now.

Watched A Very Murray Christmas last night. Clooney'd singing is haunting my nightmares now, but the rest left me with a big smile. (And it's hard for me to not tear up listening to "Fairytale of New York".)
