I drove company cars for years in sales - free insurance, free gas, covered repairs. I didn’t buy a car until after I left that industry. Not everyone needs to get a beater for their first real car they own.

When I bought my JGC Overland, I looked and the build and price, and there were cheaper options available at the dealership than were online... Specifically the parking assist and blind side detection were only available as a $1900 tech package online, but at the dealer it came alone as a $300 option.

SRT is the most expensive JGC, approaching $65K. Then Summit, starting around $52K. The Trailhawk looks like a more rugged Overland.

I test drove the V8 and V6 JGC Overland and I decided to buy the V6. I use mine for a daily driver and trips to the high country with a little offroading here in Colorado, but I likely won’t be doing much towing beyond helping my inlaws pull their boat three times a year.

I have never left the car while in Neutral, but when switching from 4Hi to 4Low and back with that shifter, it is easy to screw up and skip neutral and go to Reverse or Park.. 90% of the time I am switching from Park to Drive or Reverse, and then it is pretty simple to use.
