now thats a MOOt point!!

Yea the Nissan headlamps were a bad idea...but then come to think of it, i never knew about that when i was a kid and i still loved it...even with the “redesigned” front!!!

or me, it was a tie between this:

Man that guy in the picture looks shady as f**k!!

I guess the truth will (should) come out eventually...once that bow is untied!!

Well, after personally meeting him in 2005, i can confidently say Mr. Ghosn wasn’t a man you could threaten. But then, he should’ve taken the hint when the board expressed their displeasure at the merger plans. In a corporate, it doesn’t matter who you are, you’re just a resource and the company can do just fine with

Nobody takes compliance that serious, unless a risk event blows up into a court case. I think like Michael said, the board needed him out and they knew how.

One good thing coming out of all this SUV craze is that even the Corolla is becoming mildly interesting.

you’re right about that though IMO, the previous one didn’t really set a high bar anyways!!!

Oh yea for sure Astons have always been one the most beautiful cars on the planet.

That...suspiciously looks like a Ford Fusion!!

After some 15 years, AM will relaunch the Vantage nameplate in some fugly form to cash in on its heritage. Like all the Lagondas and Broncos and Blazers.

Hey cmon now, this is a serious discussion and all inputs are helpful and welcome.

okay tiger...slow down now!!!

Sometimes, you just gotta let them fall and pick themselves up on their own. They need to learn this themselves.

can’t say i can argue with any of those answers!!

I used to think like that but i think BrownManualWagon made a fair point when he/she said both have blurred into one now. A Rangie or a Grand Cherokee are SUVs and not crossovers even though they are built on a Unibody frame.

Damn how could i forget about the Baja!! Thanks for both your answers though.

okay fair points...so then crossovers == lifted hatchbacks. okay i can live with that. just not gonna think of SUVs when i see the word crossovers. So for my RR question, the body type has got nothing to do with all this, i.e, an SUV doesnt needs to be built on a ladder frame?

Well...it certainly looks like one but its based on the Accord. and from what i know, it’s the only truck based on a car in the market...so it’s not a true blue truck. Also by your logic, would a Jimny or a Pajero io (dunno what that one was called here in NA) be called crossovers?
