Cincinnati chili is fine once you get past the fact that it’s called “chili.” Hand somebody a plate, call it “Greek Spaghetti,” and they’ll usually like it.

Both Battlestar Galactica and Lost had endings that were perfectly fitting to their shows.

We have quite possible the worst type of house for a Roomba (a split level) and we love our Roomba. We use it just like a regular vacuum except we don’t have to actually do the work. We just set it to run when we’re watching television or just hanging out and then move it to a different level when we want to do that

He knocked in a run to take a 1-0 lead, yeah

You really don’t have to have strong Pokemon if you live in a decently populated area. We took down an Articuno today with two kids at Level 25 who weren’t using the best counters. We just waited until we had 16 or so people to do it.

My reading of that announcement is that the bonuses are available until Monday only (Double Stardust, Double XP, etc.) but that the legendaries will stay.

Pokemon Go doesn’t work as intended: People complain. Pokemon Go works precisely as intended; People complain. It’s almost as if people will look for anything to bitch about when it comes to this game.

Agreed. All the talk has been about Chicago, but 99.9%+ of the game’s players were not in Chicago. Our groups came together at a local hotspot and had a good walk together. Some stayed all day, others left to go do other things. It was a good time. I imagine that’s the experience most of the players had.

About 95% of this piece is spot on, but this is just wrong:

Granted, not everyone will be able to capture a Golem—I’ve never even seen one during my many hours of playtime.

Doctor Who” is italicized, making it a reference to the show’s title, not the character. “Doctor Who’s daughter” is a little clunky, but it is not incorrect.

They do have Emmys, at least, for stunt coordination, if not individual performers. This year’s nominees are:

NYC’s population density is an order of magnitude greater than Palo Alto’s. If you removed 90 percent of the people in New York, your housing costs would probably be okay.

Or, you know, you could allow construction of buildings taller than four or five stories. That’d be a quick way to fix it. But then, that might ruin the “character” of the neighbor by allowing the “undesirables” to move in.

Because, in my experience, Hulu almost universally runs better than the HBO Now app and it’s available on more devices, such as the PS3 I use for streaming in my bedroom.

It’s pretty obvious what they’re doing here. Kobach has been trying for years to create a national voter database to automatically kick people off if they register in a new state. Of course, god forbid you’re name is John Smith.

I’m not saying they’re dicks. I think their intention all along was to allow the show and its fans some closure, but if you can get it for four million dollars instead of five (or whatever, those are made up numbers), why not try?

Netflix is in the catalog game. Their business model is based on audience loyalty and the creation They don’t have a schedule or advertisers. In theory, they never need to cancel anything.
