It’s probably worth discussing the entire quotation, which seems to still have relevance, especially as we have a Secretary of Education whose core educational philosophy is “leave some children behind.”

My power company (in Kansas no less) is on pace to get half of its power from zero-emissions sources by the end of this year (33% wind, 17% nuclear). There are a lot of other states that could do the same, if they were willing to invest in it.

I just did the same thing. I hate talking on the phone, especially to strangers, but I had to do it. I have two Republican senators who have supported Trump whole-heartedly so far.

Ha! I only said, “Wait, he doinked it off the goal post” once!

I think we need to distinguish between actual law enforcement malpractice and much more understandable non-recognition of deep internet subculture.

Are they even going to bother explaining it, or is it some weak excuse to include the Wayne name without paying a licensing fee?

Still, saying that “we were very wrong” on a 3% difference would be like somebody saying to me “I think you’re 35" and me shooting back, “Actually, I’m 34. You’re very wrong.”

When Brooks’s resigned there was a deputy to run the place in his absence, a deputy who would ultimately be appointed to the position.

First off, Bush was first elected in 2000, meaning that in 2004, he had all of the NNSA staff in place when he had to replace his Secretary of Energy.

My cable provider doesn’t bundle...period. I pay $78/mo for internet and that price doesn’t change no matter what other services I add. Further, it’s not generally the cost of the channel packages that is exorbitant (they’re almost always running new-subscriber deals on those), it’s the add-0n costs: $30 for a DVR,

In our household, it’s feeding the cat time.

I think you’re missing one very key point: The “heroic rebels” of A New Hope, for the most part, don’t begin the series in The Rebellion. Luke and Obi-Wan are chilling in the desert. Han and Chewie are smugglers. Leia’s a senator, so she certainly can’t get involved in the nitty gritty.

I’m going to call “bullshit” on all the nay-sayers to this update. I’m not going to get into the Rural v Urban debates other than to say that, “Yes, this game sucks for rural players, and nothing here helps it.” Instead, I’d like to talk about the terrible complaints.

    Yes, yes, yes.

    And 2010 is particularly fun:

Well that sent me on a fun little journey that culminated in the 2012 Black List, which included this entry:

I get plenty of incubators from gym coins. Since the new update I’m only in about three permanently, but a couple of times per week I’ll go out and pick up 8-10. It’s usually worth 300-400 coins per week, or about two incubators per week.

I think this is a spurious correlation. I agree that on-call scheduling is crap, but I don’t think that’s as connected to information overload as the author wants to believe.
