So let me see if I have this straight.

President John Tyler, whose father fought in the revolution, has living grandchildren who only have to go back three generations. All you need is one old dude who married a much younger woman and had a kid after 70.

I disagree. I don’t think this intended for the binge model that Netflix and Amazon use, it’s more about recreating the DVR experience through OTT apps. Instead of having to have two dozen different apps on your device in order to be able to watch FX/AMC/HBO/Sundance/etc. each week, you can have one app that

This is Time Warner, not Time Warner Cable. They’re two separate companies. This is AT&T buying a whole lot of cable channels and production companies, not another TV/internet provider.

That’s really cool to know. Thanks!

Not only that, but Booker and Warren are both sitting Dem senators in states with Republican governors. Them stepping down to become VP would mean relinquishing a senate seat to the Republicans, at least for a few months.

If it was an honest question, then the answer is easily googleable. The party nominating committee meets to choose a replacement.

Are you really suggesting that parties make decisions based on what might happen in a three month period as opposed to what might happen over four or even eight years?

That’s kind of how it works. Languages are so full of idioms that don’t translate that you often have to get descriptive in order for it to make any sense.

The parties could do that if they wanted to. They control the nomination process. But there’s very little reason to. For one thing, most hard-fought primaries are between candidates with conflicting views. Obama/Clinton was relatively peaceful as far as they go, but do you really think Cruz would want to run with

Whether you score or not, I’m pretty sure you can’t spike the ball in college.

It’s the Vice President. That person’s sole job is to fill demographic needs. Obama picked Biden because he was an experienced, older, white dude who could lend confidence to the ticket.

By my count, and I don’t know all of the names, so this is off the top of my head, it’s basically:

Did you even watch the video or read a transcript? That’s an honest question. Because, if you did, you would see the context for his statements.

Yes. If you grab another person’s genitals without their permission, that’s sexual assault. It shouldn’t be that hard.

And it might not even be tactics. Trump says insane, crazy stuff basically every other day. I mean, just in the last two weeks we’ve seen him double down on his comments on Alicia Machado’s weight for four straight days, have tax returns leaked that show he lost $1 billion in one year and probably didn’t pay income

Kinda burying the lede there, no?

Have had good luck with Little Big Planet and the Lego games. Simple mechanics, few buttons, and they’re games that don’t put a lot of pressure on you to make quick decisions.

This is a feature, not a bug. Netflix is in the same position that the cable networks were a decade ago. They realized that paying other people for content was a losing game and that the real way to get people to subscribe is by producing your own original content. For Netflix, this provides double value because

Correction: November will be the time to buy a 4k television. That’s when they’ll all inevitably go on sale.
