I hate torture porn but actually enjoyed the first Saw movie but that’s because it was mostly a psychological thriller about two guys locked in a room and ordered to kill each other. The traps and gore were mostly described rather than shown and weren’t the point of the movie.

I’ll be really interested to see how the ACC explains this play. If a block in the back was called, there was no reason for it to ever go to review because block in the back is not a reviewable call.

That is the shittiest video of an inside-the-park home run I’ve ever seen. The whole fun of an inside-the-parker is watching the runner speed around the bases. Instead, they cut from the ball bouncing off the wall to the run scoring. What the hell?

I’m a fan of both pumpkin beers and sour beers. This is a very good sour beer with just a hint of pumpkin. In fact, by the end of the first bottle, the sour had almost totally overwhelmed the pumpkin. As somebody who can’t easily find good bottled sour beers, this is really good option. As somebody who legitimately

What exactly do you think this phrase means? Because the only thing I can come up with is “they sound black.”

Holy shit! I literally just picked up a pack of this on the way home from work tonight. I shall return with my thoughts.

My favorite Hunter moment I’ve been unable to find on YouTube or MLB.com since. I wish I could remember the specific game, but all I can recall is that it was a White Sox/Twins game in the Metrodome and, for some reason, I was being subjected to Hawk Harrelson.

...You lock the door when you're home and not asleep?

It’s the only reasonable response, really.

Nooooooooooo!!!!! Goddammit. With Alan Sepinwall and Dan Feinberg’s podcast ending recently and TV on the Internet gone before that I can’t lose Hollywood Prospectus. HBO/Simmons need to give Andy Greenwald All. The. Money.

One of the big reasons they’re raising prices is actually because of competition: namely, Hulu and Amazon. A few years ago, content was cheap because Netflix was the only game in town. Now, with Hulu, Amazon, and every channel and studio trying to start their own service, content is much more expensive. That’s why you

Yeah, especially when things like “trip for my boyfriend’s birthday” are things that you should be budgeting for beforehand.

In our defense, we often have no control or ability to contact people. When the interviews are complete I send all of the information to HR and they do the contacting. Usually they’re pretty good about contacting people but I imagine sometimes they don’t or it takes a while.

I can agree that most reporters are not inherently assholes. But when you’re being paid to act like an asshole (and whatever you want to call it - harrassing people during the worst moments of their lives is assholish behavior), you can’t really get upset when people call you an asshole.

EMCC is kind of a big deal in the area. They've won three of the last four NJCAA Championships. A lot of guys go there to make grades before going to bigger programs: Legarrette Blount, Quinton Dial, and Bo Wallace all went there in recent years.

Okay, so I love the LEGO games. I currently have eight of them sitting on my shelf/system and will probably pick up LEGO Batman 2 as well since it’s on sale this weekend.

It’s not even “to the end of the show,” it’s “to the end of the season.” So, like you say, somebody watching the last five episodes of Breaking Bad’s first season after getting to episode two is far less impressive than somebody watching 16 more episodes of The Blacklist or Once Upon a Time.

My wife and I play a lot of Pandemic, which is a pretty fun co-op game. You play as scientists and engineers trying to stop a disease outbreak.

I don’t think he did much with DFS last year, at least not in the beginning of the year. His Love/Hate columns were usually about comparing his rankings to the overall rankings and who he was particularly high or low on as opposed to trying to find value in DFS.
