Notre Dame is part of the CLC (see link below). Navy, however, is not, and is the only independent school not to be. I'm going with Navy.

    Shenzhen does it better.

Well given that the Wii U is actually backwards compatible, it's likely people buying Wii U games for the Wii, which is bad news for the Wii U, but good news for the Wii (since people are apparently still buying enough games for it to warrant this sign). I'd imagine you could have found similar signs during the

Yeah, you'll be fine. Besides, what do people do on Summer holidays anyway other than sit around and drink? Now they get to sit around and drink with friends and family.

We have a close, but spread-out family, too (not quite BC to Quebec but South Dakota, Minnesota, southern Kansas, and Kentucky. Three of the four cousins all got married on holiday Sundays and it was great for everybody. Just make sure you throw a good party (and maybe plan an evening activity for the night before

I kind of like holiday weekend wedding. It gives you a day to travel, a day for the wedding, and a day to travel back without having to take any vacation. On my mom's side of the family, three of the four cousins had Sunday weddings before a holiday (one Memorial Day, one Presidents' Day, one July 3rd). The fourth

I would seriously disagree with #1 and #3.

And she would have been 17 with a chance at 5 Olympic golds had the US not boycotted the 1980 Olympics. Damn.

I did, too, and it makes me kind of wish Moffat were leaving, too. I like him well enough, but one of the great things about Doctor Who is the regeneration of both Doctor and showrunners; namely, the fact that each Doctor is different. If Moffat's not going to write 12 any different than 11 then what's the point?

I know this thread is pretty much dead, but I had to add that, while I agree with the sentiment, the article completely ignores the rent factor: Basically, rents increase over time while your mortgage payment doesn't. I've crunched the numbers and found the following.

How about “We spoke to biochemists and scientists, and asked them how difficult it would be for someone to taint the sample. They said, if they were motivated, it would be extremely easy.”?

Except that the top of the website is the image at the top of this article and it links straight to the subscription page, not to anything explaining what's going on. He's intentionally trying deceive people. Stupid people, yes. But this dude's just shady.

Number of Atlantic cities in the Metropolitan Division: 6.

It largely depends on the house, but if you're going to finish, make sure you do something interesting with it. My wife and I were looking at a house in our neighborhood with the exact same floorplan as ours except they have a finished basement and we don't. When you factor in that our house is much more updated,

Once you figure that out it's not too tough. The algebra ones were probably the hardest, but even there, rather than breaking down the equation until I found x = ? I just solved for one of the two answers and, if it was right, it was right. If it didn't fit the equation, the other answer was right.

Gordon Wood's dissertation was something like 1,200 pages. But then he turned it into a 700-page book and won the Bancroft Prize. So, worth it?

I'm always amazed by how much older Hartnell looks than his actual age was. Fun fact: Christopher Eccleston was closer in age to Hartnell (in 1963) when he played The Doctor in 2005 than Bradley is to Hartnell now. Eccleston was 41, Hartnell was 55, Bradley is 71. I don't think anybody would call Eccleston "aged"

DRM isn't about preventing illegal copies from getting out there because, like you said, that's going to happen anyway. DRM is about conditioning consumers that a digital copy is to be treated the same as a physical copy. That is, just because you bought your digital copy doesn't mean you can give a copy to all of

That's true, and I've really never had a problem with people who torrent something for a digital version of a hard copy they already own. I know it's legal, but it's enough of an ethical gray area that I've always figured it's okay.

This isn't why people pirate. If you want a digital version of the Batman movies, the Blu-Ray versions are all available and for far cheaper than this set. People pirate because they're cheap or because they don't want to wait.
