I really don't understand it when people get so upset about not seeing this or that character "on the road" for logistical reasons. I get being disappointed if we miss out on interesting character development, much of which DID take place "on the road" in earlier seasons, but it feels more like people are dwelling on

Too bad Skrein has the acting chops of a tree stump.

Serving an evil king his own kin for dinner as revenge for an act of betraying guest-friendship is lifted completely from Greek mythology.

I think it was the techniques of harvesting and preserving the faces that was the mystique and 'magic' about their little cult. That and their theology, which seems to include and subvert all the other religions. But I agree with you, I feel robbed about the disproportion between the promise and the payoff with House

For as much she has now come into her own as evil, I wouldnt be surprised if by the very end of the show we somehow arrive at a place where she is redeemed by committing some unexpected tragic act of self sacrifice (probably involving Jamie) in the War against the White Walkers. All of these soon-to-be warring Queens

Also the Hound.

As much as I hate how the Arya-in-Braavos storyline evolved and fizzled this season rather than making her an official faceless assassin, it's not crazy to think that she'd steal some faces before leaving. In fact, of course she would.

I don't want to think about it either.

As much as I've despised the evil shame nun whose name I can't remember, her fate is the most hideous yet on GoT. To be a permanent rape slave to not just the Mountain, but the zombie Mountain. That really disturbed the hell out of me. Brilliantly done though, and another way to underline just how sadistic Cersei is.

Outfit looked a bit like Pinhead from Hellraiser.

Arya will assassinate her.

She wasn't calculating for Cersei to act. She was calculating for the High Sparrow all this time. I think it scans. So sad she didn't survive. And pretty breathtaking, how Tommen responded (and the way it was shot).

Right on both points.

Now THIS is podracing.

"my mom" made that so much funnier/nastier

Poetic that the last giant died inside the walls of Winterfell.

But that didn't happen on the show.

True, my bad.

True. She's obviously a different person. I'm just waiting for the moment where Sansa triumphs via intrigue, not cruelty, over LF or Cersei, by operating on their level and legit out-maneuvering then. That'll be a million times more satisfying than a smile following hideously murdering a hideous murderer. (Though that

Even sadder was when the volley of arrows hit his dead body.
