Sometimes they even force them to include lame multiplayer modes because some executive somewhere must’ve read those were popular at the time. Elite Dangerous (twice), Team Fortress 2, Satisfactory, No Man’s Sky, Minecraft, Rocket League, World of Warcraft, Destiny 2... there's honestly a lot of games that have done it.
