Sony has demonstrated that they’ll just do that in a 60 dollar remaster 4-5 years down the road. And we’ve all demonstrated we’ll keep buying that shit. It’s part of why backwards compatibility is a non-issue for Sony now.

My favorite pre-analog use of this was Tomb Raider having the “walk” button that would allow you to get right to the very edge of any terrain you could fall off of so you could properly line jumps.

Yeah, as a long time PC gamer, M+KB is completely fine and back in the day, a lot of these games were lead-developed on the PC and worked down for console versions. Man you gaming tykes. The 2D game came out in 1998. 3D graphics were taking over by 1998 and it was in fact Madden 98 when the series went 3D for the first time (this was after 989 and Sony ate EAs lunch by taking their Gameday franchise full 3D before them.)
