I come for you people. The discussions are fun and educational for someone like me (i.e. not a gearhead), everyone is friendly and has good stories.

The laziness in sourcing stories has been out of control lately. Was thinking the same thing when I noticed the article. Don’t know why I’m not done here. Could just be nostalgia at this point.

Nobody I’ve asked can adequately define a “real job”. Is it one where you’re physically and mentally exhausted to the point of contemplating suicide? Is it one where you’re so overworked you can’t see family and friends? I’d say a real job is one where there’s a market for it.

Trickle down economics only applies to costs.

That sounds an awful like the kind of argument people make when they say people working at McDonald’s don’t deserve to be paid enough to live off of because it’s “not a real job”.

Russia has always had an advanced rocket/missile program, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they are ahead of us in this technology. That doesn’t make me feel any better though.
