This game is a spectacular addtion to the Metroidvania legacy, but it does faulter in the opposite way that SOTN and SuperMet do, where those games have minimal story, this game has a lot of story that’s just really shitty.  

Just...Just put in the trash. You don’t need that kind of disappointment in your life.

I keep thinking people are talking about The Outer Worlds, which makes these conversations very confusing for me.

It very well could have been that S3&K were just more expensive to port than any other game and since they already had 1 and 2 they didn’t NEED to include the rest.
It’s all speculation, but it definitely was likely a dollars situation for a device that solely exists to make sega money.  

Speculation is that the reason Sonic 3 and Knuckles didn’t get inlcuded was because of the use of music partially developed by Michael Jackson, thus making the rights harder.  Enough so that it wasn’t worth the effort to investigate the rights situation.  

Misread this as Legend of GrimLOCK and am very disappointed.
