@Benevolent_Dictatrix (patently absurd): That's the day I would have dropped out of law school. The hell I'm going to spend three years with a bunch of people who take it as a given that I'm not qualified to be there.

@Penny_Esq: Yes—nobody batted an eye about Bush's low grades.
@Zombies make the heart grow fonder: Seriously. I can't believe everyone fell for his "I'm a moderate, really" act. Although the dems I think assumed that northern va would save the day again and didn't campaign very well here.
@SarahMC: I think there's something about the redemption narrative that's appealing. It's the reason born-again Christians get a pass on everything they did before they got "saved."
@Hannapdx: What's a CLE?
@starfishtat: Haha, when I read this I thought, "But wait, no, President Oba—ohhhh, I see what you did there."
@SarahHeartburn: I have a tendency to pop out of parties.
@chersolly: Bros before hos, right? (This expression makes my skin crawl).
@SarahMC: Maybe she's Irish?
@14Kgold: I don't know...going to Harvard has probably helped her get ridiculously good connections.
@la.donna.pietra: That sounds like something every good lawyer should know.
@beatrice2000: My parents and I would get into huge arguments about my reading at the dinner table. I couldn't stand eating without reading—it seemed like such a waste of time. Actually, I think I'm still that way now—which is perfect for grad school!
@bookling: One awesome thing about my elementary school is that we would occasionally have all-day "read-ins"—everyone in the class would bring a sleeping bag and some books and we'd spend the day on the floor reading. I loved trading books with my friends.
@sadie-panic: Teachers discouraging students from being "brainy." wtf?
@KatrinaBullfinch: Hearted. Love this comment.
@hollygirl: I wonder what a couple's counselor does in a case where there's domestic violence going on. Say "this is not what you need—the abuser needs individual therapy"? Or somehow try to solve the problem in the context of couples therapy?
@sadie-panic: I hated the Fountainhead.
@dearheart: Wait, so what did you say?
@tangodiva: I love that he has a potty mouth. He always seems so buttoned-up on the show.
@ytuhermanotambien: All the female celebs who signed the pro-Polanski petition. (I'm so glad Emma Thompson took her name off!)
