When I went for my pre-college visit at Texas A&M we had an Aspire as a rental while our car was in the body shop. With the a/c on it wouldn't go above 60. It boggles the mind to think that could be considered luxury by a certain generation of Soviets.

Am I doing this right?

Looks like it to me, good eye. I was hoping to find something about it, but Lambert's Imports seems to be out of business. Or doesn't believe in the Internet.

There are 2 active ads for 3 total fiats. Both mention the headlights!

In case it wasn't obvious from the video, Chief Brown is in fact black

Yeah it seems to be a thing now, I saw at least 3 different custom blocks.

Apparently it’s a custom block

That’s what the spec sheet says, small block 454 Ford. Here’s a crate version

If it's cold enough to need a heater, probably not. But if it does start to overheat, just pull over and take the cardboard out.

It’s a Scott Flying Squirrel, they did make it to the States so you see them for sale sometimes.

No, it’s just reminding you to pet animals like cats and dogs, not Tigers and bears. Don’t PetStupid, people,Petsmart!

The grease in them is considered to be lifetime, the ball joint itself is not. Most service recommendations I have seen have an "inspect ball joints" line. That alone implies that they are expected to wear out at some point. You can also tell by the number of aftermarket options for the joints themselves, or arms

There was an SL gullwing at the covered storage place near where I used to live. It was smashed pretty bad but I always wished I could hear it's story.

We all realize that ball joints are a wear item? And on a high horsepower car with large, heavy wheels they will probably wear rather quickly which would be evident in poor tire wear. If I remember correctly the car that sparked this had 70k. Not high mileage, but I have seen plenty of cars with less mileage and

We have a black and a green that come into my shop, but I'm with you. I bet 80 percent or better were red, reddah is bettah

Also this, there are 2 concurrent chances :) The other seems much better documented, just seemed interesting that there were 2 at once.

If you look in the possible causes section the first mentioned is the unreasonably low air pressure Ford specified. 26 psi is a flat tire. This may have had a little to do with how Firestone built the tires, but I believe they took the fall to keep their supplier contract, which they lost anyway.

I like the Toyota Starlet for some variants. I had one as my first car, so let’s face it, I love the Starlet.

Do you have a Pierce-Arrow? Do you know Ben Oakes?
