At one point, Cindy playfully twirled McCain’s hair and said, “You’re getting a little thin up there.” McCain’s face reddened, and he responded, “At least I don’t plaster on the makeup like a trollop, you cunt.”

Selina Vickers, who went on a week-long hunger strike to advocate for reform of the superdelegate system

They added in some theoreticals about the Senate vote on Kavanaugh noting only two more needed to abstain or deny for a simple majority without McCain. (so probably Bob?)

I don’t think (most) liberal people are cheering his death. It’s more of a “(shrug) Well, don’t let the casket door smack you in the head.”

Oppose Trump?  Only with words, not votes.  WOO!

This is a rather pointless reform, as not a single person in existence has ever based his or her vote on who super delegates were supporting. Likewise, super delegates have never been a factor in the nomination, which has always gone to the overall delegate winner.

I’ll give you $10 if you go to his funeral and say that on the pulpit.

...who went on a week-long hunger strike to advocate for reform of the superdelegate system, said, ‘It is really kind of bizarre...’

Let’s not forget that McCain was always pretty much an asshole:

Ted Kennedy killed a human though so it’s hardly like being a Liberal Lion forgives that.

“Tear that tail up”

Some opponents of the reform believe it would reduce the influence of people of color, as more than 200 of the 700-plus superdelegates are black, HuffPost noted.

Why wouldn’t Hillary lose just as many voters as Bernie because of people thinking the outcome is already decided?

Someone should let the Sanders people who backed this know that he would have lost big either way. In fact, by the end, he was actually relying on the superdelegates for any hope he had.

Will they be eliminating caucuses as well?

Super delegates are dumb and pointless and should not exist. But this is hardly a crucial reform. Super delegates have never swayed a nomination from a candidate who would have won with just regular delegates to another candidate. Sanders and his supporters have some legitimate gripes about 2016, but this is not one

Given that Clinton won by 4 million regular votes, I don’t see how anyone honestly can claim superdelegates had any real impact on the election. They wouldn’t even have if they had voted for Sanders, liked he begged them to. Anyway, the ridiculous caucus system remains and Iowa gets to retain it’s outsized power.

Here’s an idea. This is a little out there, so bear with me:

Yeah but why do they exist though?

Well I, for one, am shocked.
